How SAMPS started
The vision began in 2005 while facing the loss of our jobs due to a factory closure. We started our business as "Samp's Compact Motorsports" and have since become simply "SAMPS." When we first opened, we specialized in automotive customizing parts and accessories, along with automotive maintenance/repair, opened a local U-Haul® dealership, and would do snow removal services during the winter. Eventually we added automotive detailing that now includes everything from boats to RVs. Now, we no longer focus on automotive customizing parts or snow removal. We do still provide complete automotive maintenance, have stocked the store with various moving supplies, sell and install hitches, added Waxoyl® brand rust protection services as an authorized application center, as well as continuing the U-Haul® dealership. Our success can only be attributed to the great community around the Troy, Ohio area that has put their trust in SAMPS. To you, we will be forever grateful!
